Beginning January 2023, Flowstone will be hosting fun and exciting experiences for kids, ages 10 - 17. 

January 21;  Screenwriting & Filmmaking

We will dive into the world of screenwriting and film making. from the history of film to the current state of movies today. Students will be guided in creating their own script and film production. 

March 18; Dance and Movement

Make sure kids wear comfortable clothes because there will be a lot of movement on this day. From the history of dance, exploring the plethora of dance types, and it's inextricable link to music, students will come home tired and well versed in a dozen new moves. 

April 8; Herbalism for Health and Wellness

Students will learn about some of the more common herbs and how they impact our physical and emotional health. From identification to making herbal blends, students will come away understanding the long history of herbalism and it's many uses in today's modern world.

April  15; Beauty, Fashion & Design

Not just for girls, this workshop will go into all things fashionable. Students will explore everything from make-up artistry to struting down the run-way, and everything that happens in between. 

May 20; Filmmaking & Screenwriting Part 2 at the Ignacio Community Library

June 24th, 10am - 4pm - Fix It, Don't Toss It Community Event

July 22nd, 9am - 4pm - Foraging in the San Juan Mountains

August 12th, 10am - 3pm - Photography (Location TBD)

September 16th, 10am - 3pm - Old World Crafts (Wood, Leather, & Wool)

October 21st, 10am - 3pm - Candy Making and Chocolate Crafts

October 28th, 10am - 3pm - REVERSE Craft Fair Community Event

November 11th, 10am - 3pm - Candle & Soap Making

December 16th & 17th - Weekend of Service Community Event
